Pekko is one of the most well-known experts in digital health in Finland. He acquired his first heart rate monitor in 1997, and has studied health technology passionately ever since. Currently he is known as “the Most Quantified Man in Finland” who uses over 50 wearable tech measurement devices and has acquired personal wellbeing data from the past five years.

In his doctoral dissertation, he studied multivariate data with data mining methodology including advanced neural networks and decision algorithms. He has been working in senior positions in Finnish and multinational listed companies, and is skilled both in mobile technology and in digital business consulting. More recently, he has applied data mining to holistic wellbeing analysis. Pekko has had several public appearances in Finnish national TV, radio and major journals and magazines.
